About ReForest Now

ReForest Now is a not-for-profit working at the lowest rates possible to restore what was once Australia’s largest expanse of subtropical rainforest. By 1900, less than 1% of this unique ecosystem remained due to clearing by early settlers.

Although fragmented and small today, it is home to bountiful biodiversity with an incredible array of species that grew from the rich volcanic soils of Wollumbin (Mt Warning). People like you help us achieve our mission of restoring cleared land back to rainforest. Join us by donating and let's reforest together.

How your money helps
Tree Planting

The ReForest Now team celebrating an exciting milestone of 150,000 rainforest trees planted in Australia. ReForest Now estimates it can double this number over the next planting season, restoring hectares of critically endangered subtropical rainforest.

Planting Projects

A current project near Federal, NSW. White areas show plantings from April/May 2021. Outlined areas are the Allansby and Midland remnants of the original Big Scrub rainforest - a regional ecosystem that was 99% lost.

The Nursery

ReForest Now grows and prioritises vulnerable and endangered species in their nursery. Every tree is publicly listed for transparency. Every tree is maintained and protected by agreements made with landholders and under federal legislation.
