About SAFE Inc.

SAFE Inc. is WA's largest volunteer-based animal rescue & rehoming organisation. Since it began in 2003, SAFE has rehomed 32,400+ animals and has grown to include 11 subsidiary branches across Western Australia. We have a dedicated team of volunteers ensuring an exceptional level of care for our rescue animals.
SAFE’s compassionate approach ensures all animals are provided with home-based foster care, are desexed and given veterinary care before being placed in new permanent homes. We work collaboratively with local government, other rescue organisations and vets for the benefit of the animals.

How it works?

We‘ve helped dozens of good causes, community groups and charitable organisations

Orphan foster care

Some donations go toward providing bedding, formula and bottles for orphaned puppies and kittens in SAFE’s care.

Special veterinary care

Some animals that come into SAFE’s care need specialised attention. They may have been in an accident, born with a congenital condition or been abused. These cases often require costly surgery.
